While most of Lynne and Keith Langille's clientele are couples who prefer the freedom and flexibilities that come from civil wedding ceremonies, there are some couples who still prefer to have their marriage performed within a church setting. Although most churches will not allow external clergy to perform ceremonies within their premises, Lynne and Keith are familiar with several in the Ottawa area who will rent their facilities for both civil and religious wedding ceremonies. As this fact is not well known, often these churches are available during the peak wedding season when venues elsewhere have long been booked solid. This church venue option provides the opportunity to balance a number of family interests about the wedding ceremony and also enables the ceremony to be designed and performed without the heavy "churchiness" of most religious weddings. Couples can then have a ceremony which balances both tradition along with refreshing innovation and please all of the stakeholders in their wedding ceremony. Lynne and Keith both hold clergy status with the Registrar General of Ontario and an established and legally recognized Canadian religious organization.
