IWhat could be more romantic than the effect of dozens of candles illuminating a darkened room while you exchange your vows. Not only is the effect very dramatic, it really engages your guests in the moment and the experience of your ceremony.

Long thin candles and a book of matches can be distributed to all the seats prior to the start of the ceremony. Just before the exchange of the vows and rings, your guests will be invited to light their candles and assemble around both of you during this part of the ceremony.

Your ushers can dim the lights down and help anyone with their candles for the five minutes that this element might last during the ceremony.

This is principally an indoor evening type option for your ceremony as its important to ensure that no other light sources are visible.
