The Province of Ontario integrates into each Marriage Licence, a Record of Solemnization of Marriage certificate which, while visually unattractive, used to assist in facilitating name changes on drivers licences, credit cards and other documentation. It is, however, only an interim document while you wait out the required 90 days before being able to apply for an offical copy of your marriage certificate.
