The Province of Ontario integrates into each Marriage Licence, a Record of Solemnization of Marriage certificate which, while visually unattractive, used to serve to assist in facilitating name changes on drivers licences, credit cards and other documentation. It is, however, only an interim document while you wait out the required 90 days before being able to apply for an offical copy of your marriage certificate.

We will prepare, for signing at your ceremony, a much more attractive Certificate of Marriage which you can then use and display in the manner of your choice.

Should you wish to locate and purchase any of the many speciality certificates which can be found on many bridal websites, we would be pleased to have them completed appropriately during the official signing, if you will supply them to us prior to the ceremony.
