While the wedding ceremony is mainly about the bride (yes, the groom does play a supporting role!), it is every bit as much about the bridal couple establishing a relationship with their guests. There are a number of ways to do this throughout the ceremony. Entering with flowers is one of them.

Most brides start their walk down the aisle with a bouquet already in hand. All eyes are upon her and the cameras have started to flash. Suddenly, a guest sitting at one of the rear aisle seats presents her with a stunning flower, a calla lily, a rose or something equally attractive. Later down the aisle another person does the same.

In these two brief moments, by allowing her guests to offer her additional flower, the bride has further added to the sense of inclusiveness by engaging diectly with some of her guests. All of the attendees will feel and share the moment.

Once the bride arrives at the front with the bridal party she can pass these flowers to her Maid of Honour or also attach these flowers around her bouquet or alternatively as shown below, as her bouquet. These extra flowers can be used later in the ceremony during the presentation of flowers to female VIPs or placed in an act of memoriam to honour loved ones deceased.
