Lynne and Keith offer a premium service for their clients and due to the significantly higher level of service they offer, the extra number of hours they work on your behalf, and the limited number of engagements they accept, their fees are often slightly higher than those of most other Ottawa officiants (but not always). For every 30 minute ceremony they perform, there are usually another 10-15 additional hours of further time and expertise invested in achieving such a memorable result.

Being a small, home-based and part time operation, they are not equipped to respond to a high volume of enquiries but rather a limited number of serious enquiries from couples who really appreciate excellence. If finding the lowest priced officiant available is more important to you than having you and your guests experiencing an exceptional and innovative wedding service, then there are so many other Ottawa officiants who are likely a better fit for your ceremony expectations. Lynne and Keith Langille's services to each wedding couple always consists of four or more of the following elements:

An Interview Session. This initial hour long discussion is usually undertaken in person at their home or by telephone, during which we mutually establish if they are the right officiants to help you achieve your wedding vision. This no-obligation service is provided to you free of any charge.

A Planning Session. This hour long planning session at their home (or optionally at a location of your choice) enables you to more fully discuss your vision for your ceremony after which Lynne and Keith will convey to you, everything they can do and how they can do it for you.

Ongoing Consultation by telephone, their website, and e-mail regarding the ceremony script and other wedding considerations drawing upon Lynne and Keith's extensive experience base.

A Rehearsal Session. Typically an hour or longer, your rehearsal session will have you and your bridal party projecting poise and confidence throughout your wedding ceremony.

The Administrative Session. Every wedding requires about 30 minutes of preparation of the legal documentation prior to the marriage ceremony. This is actually the foundation of meeting the requirements for a legal marriage. This session then substantially reduces the actual time required for signatures during ceremony itself. After the conclusion of the ceremony, all documentation is promptly filed with the Registrar General of Ontario.

The Wedding Ceremony. Your wedding ceremony will be completely unique and distinctive from any other ceremony you or your friends have ever experienced before. It will convey all the right emotions and tones to make it a spectacular success.

Some couples do not require all six elements while others may require even additional assistance. Essentially, the primary difference between each of the ceremony base packages below is the additional time and expense required by Lynne and Keith to help you coordinate the achievement of your vision for your ceremony. All base packages include a total of 100 km of travel to and from the ceremony. As the quality and creativity of the wedding ceremonies Lynne and Keith are performing far exceeds the level most couples expect or have ever seen anywhere, they have bundled several core packages together that offer outstanding value.

The following officiation fees for ceremonies conducted in the greater Ottawa region during 2010 and 2011 are guaranteed throughout these years. Each package also includes travel up to a total of 100 km of travel from their Stitttsville residence to and from the ceremony site.

Their Baptism/Christening/Naming, Renewal of Vows, & Memorial Services Ceremony Packages start at $300. They include a full in-depth consultation and planning meeting with a customized, personalized ceremony script. Each also includes travel up to a total of 100 km from their Stitttsville residence to and from the ceremony site.

Their Elopement, Bronze, & Co-Officiated Packages start at $350 and they're great for couples who just want an elopement, a small ceremony (20 guests or less) or a ceremony prior to a destination wedding or an exotic location. Elopement and Bronze ceremonies are available throughout the day and evening Sunday (except long weekends after 1 pm) to Friday and before 1:30 p.m. on Saturdays for ceremonies held in Ontario. This economical option includes one consultation meeting, a draft ceremony script for your personalization, ongoing telephone and e-mail consultation, access to our knowledge and experience base, officiation of your ceremony, and preparation and filing of all the legal documentation. Co-Officiated ceremonies are available at anytime. This Elopement/Bronze/Co-Officiated Package is great value since it is about the same cost as the sterile, bland ceremony you get during weekends from City Hall (and Lynne and Keith will still tell you how you could save a further $75 from the $150 that the City of Ottawa charges for the Marriage License).

Their Silver Package starts at $500 is a popular service level chosen for early afternoon & evening ceremonies and it includes all of the Bronze package components and even more. It is for couples who want more extensive live consultation with one additional hour long planning meeting, a more personalized ceremony, and regular Q&A dialogue by phone or email. With this package Lynne and Keith will advise you about conducting your wedding rehearsal, although they will not be in attendance for it. 

Their Gold Package starts at $650 and is the primary service level for most Saturday afternoon wedding ceremonies during the prime 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. period. It includes all of the Silver package components as well as Lynne or Keith's live participation and guidance at a detailed, hour long rehearsal ceremony in which your entire wedding party will achieve and display poise and confidence. It also includes up to a total of 100 km of travel from their Stitttsville residence to and from the reheasal site. This package is designed for brides and grooms who really want their wedding procession, bridal party positioning and recession to look sharp and crisp. It is highly recommended for any bridal parties of six or more people, and it is essential for a ceremony held in a prestige or unique venue such as the Museum of Civilization, NAC, National Art Gallery, Chateau Laurier, Brookstreet, etc., where achieving a well executed visual look is required.

Their Platinum Package is a custom package is designed for brides and grooms who require services that go beyond those of their Gold package. For example, sometimes couples who have previously attended one of Lynne and Keith's weddings, ask them to perform a ceremony well beyond the Ottawa area; e.g Montreal, Kingston, Val-des-Bois, Pembroke, Montebello, Brockville, etc. Or, they might require the officiant to stay an extended time as the ceremony is held on a boat, an island or hot air balloon. Others may specifically want both Lynne and Keith to perform their ceremony together or alternatively have both present to ensure an on-site back-up officiant or as a cover for a surprise wedding. Regardless of the specific circumstances, Lynne and Keith are flexible and can provide a quote for a custom requirement. And yes, Lynne and Keith can perform ceremonies anywhere in the world, especially in the Caribbean but only during the winter!

Extras: While the above packages cover off most ceremony requirements, experience has proven that a very small number of weddings do require additional time or costs.

Your ceremony date and time are locked out from anyone else's consideration from the moment you set your interview up with Lynne and Keith. And it remains reserved up to the time of the interview and for 7 days thereafter. No one can take your date away from you while you are awaiting your interview with them. And you have a week afterwards to interview anyone else if you so choose.

Lynne and Keith process all of their reservations directly themselves and a deposit of $200 (payable to Keith Langille) is required to complete the booking process (all but $100 is refundable up to 4 months before the ceremony).The balance (cash or cheque payable to Keith Langille) is due, usually at the planning session or at least 2 weeks prior to your ceremony.

Lynne and Keith also offer family members and friends of couples, the opportunity to engage their services as a gift to the lucky couple so that they can then direct their remaining resources to other priority items.

As well, Lynne and Keith donate $100 from every wedding ceremony booked through them to a charitable fund which supports World Vision; Habitant for Humanity; Operation Go Home; The International Justice Mission; Freedom House; The Mission; Wild Bird Care Centre - Ottawa; and Soupe Populaire de Gatineau, QC.
