Check out any of the thousands of wedding planning checklists available on the web and 99.9% simply suggest that you:

  • Plan your rehearsal
  • Advise the participants as to where and when it is

That's all you'll likely find. Not much help really, is it?

For most elopements and very small weddings, a rehearsal is not usually necessary. For all other ceremonies, a rehearsal of some form is really mandatory. It is completely optional as to whether you arrange to have the rehearsal conducted by someone you know or alternatively you ask us to lead your rehearsal ceremony.

You want your wedding ceremony to go smoothly. The specific outcome of a great rehearsal is that you and your wedding party will display confidence and poise throughout the ceremony. This does take some practice to ensure the results you want. Find out where and how to stand, what will happen, what to do and exactly when to do it. We can help you set-up and carry out your rehearsal, we will talk to you and the members of the wedding party letting everyone know what is expected and when certain events will take place. Come wedding day, everyone will carry it off with poise and confidence  to the dlight of your guests and photographers!

As experienced wedding officiants, we know how to stage the different aspects of your ceremony so that they communicate exactly the right emotional and visual messages to your families and guests. Different wedding party sizes and ceremony venues pose challenges at times and we are experienced in how to mazimize each specific situation for optimal effect.

In a wedding ceremony, performance is everything, and our extensive rehearsal session thoroughly prepares both of you and your bridal party for this most special of events. And then your reheasal party can really be all the more enjoyable for both of you, knowing that everyone will sparkle at the ceremony.

Most officiants charge about $150 to lead a rehearsal which often is completed in only 30 minutes or less. Our rehearsal sessions usually take about 60 minutes to conduct which is about 2-3 times the length of most ceremonies. We go over everything  at least twice and often three times. We perform our own rehearsals ourselves and we never send a substitute. Frequently we will both both be there to lead the rehearsal giving you the added benefit of two sets of eyes and experience.

Our regular fee for leading your rehearsal is $200 however for couples who choose our Gold, Platinum and Diamond ceremony packages, there is $50 savings as the rehearsal is included in the bundled package price.
