Although same sex marriage ceremonies for gay & lesbian couples have been legally permitted in Ontario since 2003, despite all the media controversy, the simple reality is that very few same sex marriages have actually occurred since then. Presently, about 10% of the ceremonies we perform each year are same sex, so we've likely been at far more than most people.

In breaking new ground, each ceremony that we perform is an opportuntity to establish new traditions that borrow from from the old yet find new forms of expression. With each new same sex ceremony that we officiate, we have have built up an appreciation of the unique issues that should be addressed in order to ensure the complete satisfaction for all. As with conventional ceremonies, no two are alike and we strive to help you find the balance that is appropriate for the two of you and your guests.

As more couples come forward to formalize their relationships, we expect to add to the growing resource base we now offer.
